I read a lot more than I post Not being much a poet Your poems really touch my heart Just wanted you to know it. Some of you have been my friends For quite a stretch of time Others I don't know so well But I enjoy your rhyme. There are those I love so much If life should end today I'd know I'd tasted heaven Just because they came my way. And there are ones who seem to know When I am feeling down For as I read their words, I find Smiles replacing my frown. On this special day of thanks As I should more often do I'm sending Passion's poets A deeply felt "thank you." |

Kethry: Thank you very much! *S* The idea is definitely beautiful... but the giving thanks often takes a back seat to overeating and football. *G* Toerag: Thanks, sweets... There's really no way I can do people like Elizabeth Santos, Balladeer, Poet DeVine, Seymour, Janet Marie, WhtDove, LJA, Corazon, and a certain dear Toerag justice... for your compassion and kindness enrich my life as much as your poetry delights my soul. *S* I just wish you were around more... for you're one of the finest! *S* |

Yanno, it never ceases to amaze me how lil Belle can write a poem all about me, and everybody else thinks it's for them. hmmmpphhhh - makes me wanna kick a cat! I like the flow in this poem, Belle. I think you self-deprecate out of habit now - you are a wonderful woman, but you have allowed yourself to slide into a life filth and degradation in pursuit of Toerag. Please save yourself - lol. if that doesn't get the lil Belle fired up, I'm gonna hang up my dancin' shoes! |
