Frothy foam-filled waves hit the shore,
As spring tides come flowing in scores,
And we lay there close together,
And my head rests on your shoulder.

The teasing waves tickle our toes,
While the breeze caresses my nose,
The sun slowly starts floating down,
While the sky wears a crimson gown.

Castles in clouds put their lights on,
As the starry sparklers switch on,
The night draped in glowing surrounds,
Life feels like happy dreams abound.

And we lay there close together,
Loving hands wrapped around each other,
And my thoughts only belong to you,
And my love is honest and true.

Then I stare into your green eyes,
Mistily smiling at me in sighs,
And I feel my eyes smiling too,
Showering all my love on you.

Through your eyes I see a kind soul,
Sea of love in your crystal bowl,
And I place my life's paper boat,
In those loving waters to float.

The breeze now blows fully content,
This flapping heart waves its consent,
As your fingers caress my hair,
I just continue with my stare.

I hope you see love in my eyes,
Forever like the stars in the skies.

Sudhir, you write so well, considering that you are in love, and all....

Ah, such a pleasure to see some of my most beautiful friends here turn up to say hi...

Thank you all so much... and if not for the persistent lack of time, I would have had the honour of thanking each of your eloquent poets individually...

Thanks for all your words of constant encouragements... and please forgive me for my bad manners of not being here much these days...

My warmest regards,
Sudhir

A very beautiful poem, I hope to be able to express myself that well in my poetry one day.

Oh sweet, sweet Romeo ....
this is stunning !

'The teasing waves tickle our toes,
While the breeze caresses my nose,
The sun slowly starts floating down,
While the sky wears a crimson gown.'

I love a sky in crimson gown.
You've certainly written a beauty here.
Love you and send my best regards to you.
So very, very nice to see you, my friend.

So it is not really work that keeps our favored master of romance out of the forums these days.  Wow my friend, talk about romance hung in the heavens.  This was exquisitely penned in so much tenderness that even I am left in awe.  So nice to see this side of you coming out these days.
