Listening to every heart

Promises to Myself

do you do it too
promise you
to write the best
as if a test
by a judge to be
cast in light
of night's long write

what does the
judge know

and do you do
what I do best
not pass the test
but write because
your heart sings
through anything

the cry of cries
the loss of ties
when you have tried
to lift and fly

and wonder where
you must have been

the mind wanders
to wonders of
when
will you be
the light of me
the bright of me
in a world that
cannot see

the love of two
that came to be
so many eons ago

now only spirits met
for love was kept
safe
in dream
and
fantasy

a promise to myself

Karilea
If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.

Once again you have bidden the sun to rise and it has.  A beautiful piece.  Much like the first rays of light from the sunrise.

Kari, your promises are kept, because each and every time you exceed in beauty. This is again one where you have capped the stone. Brilliant as always.
Take care
