Just Beyond

The mind is quick the pace is slow
And of the mixture I don't know?
Hell and heaven rule each day
Hold my hand and let us pray.

Beyond the immurement let us lure
Beyond the byways and contour.
Beyond the wonder of the dream
Even beyond creations scheme.

Hold my hand and let us pray
Hell and heaven rule each day.
Indulge the wile and drink the mist
Pucker your lips and feel the kiss.

Stand within the ego's fly
Kick the dragon in the eye.
Grab the pendulum change the rhyme
Swing upon the edge of time.

And if you can't reset the sail
Then surely you remain in jail.

Sy* Your words float so elegantly across the
page...like soft satin billowing in a
breeze, Excellent weaving dear poet~

You cannot dance in the sun until you have cried in the rain~

"And if you can't reset the sail
Then surely you remain in jail."

Loved those last two lines best.  Beautifully written altogether.  Enjoyed much.

Seymour I love how you write with such quality without making your compositions too complicated......ethome

unfurling sail, setting course...
skimming 'cross waters
by pure whispered force...

always a keeper...

If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.

To all you wonderful people above, I thank you much. Don't have any time catching a plane to New York for the holidays. See you all in a few days. Love you all. Sy
