All I want to do, My friend, Is find my way into your arms, Where I will only listen To those songs that bring me inspiration, Then fall fast asleep. These eyes are tired; This body is worn. It’s a long, long road I’ve traveled to get here. And, now I see, Your arms are outstretched, Waiting to catch me. I’m weary From the constant pull of obligation, Of those things that keep us apart. In you, I’ve found the rest I’ve been so desperately seeking. So, now, All I want to do, My friend, Is find my way Into your arms, Where I will find peace. -kh 11/00 I won't go, I won't sleep, I can't breathe until you're resting here with me... |

Interesting piece, to begin and end with the same statement. It's as if the reader has been taken on a sensual journey and returned to the starting place to rest in comfort. Very nicely woven. |
