The Smiles Fairy

There is a rather special fairy who visits everyone
A very sweet fairy who comes straight from the sun
Wherever she flies she leaves her very special gift
She is the smiling fairy and her smiles give you a lift

When you're feeling sad and your mouth turns down
Watch for the smiles fairy she'll be flying into town
She brings the sunshine that switches on after the rains
She slides down the rainbows erasing those tearstains

She sends those smiles out to those spirits in need
Her smiles seem to take root and flower like a seed
Every time she visits her smiles they gather all around
Her smiles plant themselves in the stoniest of ground

The smiles fairy she will be flying close by here today
So if you see her as she passes by, stop her and say
Welcome home smiles fairy, now you I really miss
Come and bid me hello, and give me your soft kiss

Give her a friendly greeting ask her in for some tea
That sweet smiles fairy surprised she'll ask who me?
She's often ignored as she flies giving out those smiles
I've known her fly from Lands End, on and on for miles

So a rousing cheer for the smiles fairy give her a grin
If you give back a smile to her you will certainly win
Her love and admiration for sending a smile on back
And the smiles fairy will keep you on the right track

Marsha

Circe, Bless you sweet, I almost feel like singing that song.

Nobody loves a fairy when she's forty
Nobody want a fairy that is plump
They say the fairy that is faulty
Doesn't look so sweet as like a sugar lump
My wand it's true is rather wonky
My wings are just a little small
'Cause nobody loves a fairy when she's forty
Nobody wants to take me to the ball

Now I botch the dance and we all fall about giggling. Glad I brought the smile to you. Goodness the Panto season has started early this year
Take care love

Kethry, tea yes please, do I ever say no to a cup of tea, I don't think so. Thank you love.

Poemminister, then it did what I wanted it to, good and I'm glad.
I'm pleased it brought you a lift.

Sandra, thank you most kindly.

Now if someone would take pity on me and show me how to decorate this with a little poetry fairy I'd be estactic.
Take care

this is such a little treasure!...

Kari, love it looks like we did it again, I think it's coincidence, or someone bugged the 'puter.
Well anyway thanks a lot. Not that I'd get off the ground if I was a fairy. (Well I might but there would be one of those low flying object warnings going off.
Take care

Marsha, I can't tell you how to do this. But I'm happy for you to steal my graphics. Perhaps Nan Or Eilidh could help.
