How wonderful it could really be
To be a blowfish in the sea,
Keeping safe from all the harm
Puffing up at the slightest alarm

No worries through out the day
Just some leisure and a little play
Have a good nibble here and there
And when threatened puff up with air

When the bullies come around
Make defense with out a sound
When you can blow up like a ball
Not to fret about anything at all

No more hassles from loves bite
Moving freely through the night
Just imagine how it could be
To be a blowfish in the sea

No danger of feeling life’s pain
A simple life you could sustain
When no longer in a threatening state
Just swim away and slowly deflate

You could even amuse your self
Just bounce yourself off a coral shelf
You wouldn’t even have to diet
Just exhale,.. oh what a riot

So many beautiful fish to choose
All of them somehow seem to lose
Of all the fish that swim the sea
A little blowfish is what I’d be

Dedicated to all the Arothron hispidus {puffer fish}!   hehe

Little fishy in the sea,
What I would give to be with thee.

You turned me into a blowfish while I read this and I loved it much.  Nicely written.

Vicky I'm happy to have made you smile this morning. It's always
nice to start the day with a smile.
I'm glad you enjoyed.

ethome Thank you for taking the time to read and reply.

Tepok ~*Smiles*~
What would you give to be with thee,
this little fishy of the sea.....
Come swim with me on this magic ride
and see what's here below the tide.

Sven The insperation came from me setting my aquarium back up, again, and this time I've decided to go with Marine fish....and I just know that I'll be kicking myself in the butt in about two weeks for that!
I'm glad you liked!

Poeminister Wouldn't it be fun to be a blowfish? Hehe
I'm thrilled you loved it!

Many thanks to all of you for reading and replying. I'm happy you've enjoyed!
Happy Thanksgiving to you all
