Rivers of Tears

~~Daniel J D~~

Standing alone, in deep emotions
No sounds penetrate my frustrations
Long days and nights of lamentations
The tears I shed obtained no opinions

Every step I took was from a puddle
Of tears, as I headed from the jungle
Of pains, and heartache and many a puzzle
Out of view, deep upon a river I stumble

The river bears our names
The craziness of love's games
Ending in a river of tears
Flowing out to the ocean of fears
Into the depths of despairs

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love
(Daniel J D)

Oh, this is covetously sad...it yearns for a new beginning...and I hope you find it...for to write like this imparts such a wondrous heart...

JD~
I was caught in the current of your tears.

Sometimes it is a babbling brook
sometimes a stream that my tears took
sometimes a waterfall cascading
I navigate this river - sometimes raging
Upon it's currents I am tossed
reaching an ocean of emotion
where I am lost
upon the waves of deep despair
tossed on the shore
and just left there

Slammed again at tides return
thinking that someday I will learn
The river of tears will always flow
where my memories want me to go
I hope I discover how to break free
before this river of tears drowns me

until then ....
I'm treading memories

*JD~ Thanks for this little spark of inspiration.

I enjoyed this one. Very deep! My favorite lines
"The river bears our names
The craziness of love's games
Ending in a river of tears
Flowing out to the ocean of fears
Into the depths of despairs"

Very moving and touching poem! Keep up the great work (Art)! Have a wonderful day.

Victoria, and Sunshine,
Apologies for the late reply. The emotions of loneliness is daunting, and when the river of tears run dry, the search for a new beginning demands strength.

I absolutely love rivers and the meaning behind them. Thank you for posting this one!

Daniel* This piece struck a familiar cord
that I couldn't pull away from if I
tried...the current of this river is filled
with the pain that so many loves end
in...hand in hand...like the rivers flowing
to the seas...Excellent writing~

Daniel,  Now I know why Marge was inspired so much. This was an excellent read and I am sure most of us can relate to it.  I know that I can.  Wonderfully written.
