Yearnings of A Heart
In dark of night shadowed spirit rests
Upon sheets of satin in eyelet dress
Drifting through passages of timeless sleep
Where passionate heart so quietly weeps
Of endless dreams of once upon times
Yearnings of a heart to be truly loved

Arising at dawn to amber glow of sun
Dreams are forgot new journeys have begun
Through golden archway where trust is found
Demons and dragons have all been cast out
A touch of man with gentle hand
Releases from cage a spirit no longer contained
Two hearts unite forming sacred bond
Together in rhythm till end of all time...
Coco

Janet & Sea, you 2 sweeties got me smiling and I'm sure ya know I so much adore the "mystical" and "innocence" in dreamed up rhyme

Dani~
This is just the loveliest rhyme.
Thoughts as pretty as these must have come
from just the nicest of 'once-upon-a-times'.

It's not exactly wake-up time here ...
but I think I'll join you in that cup of coffee.

Coco my friend, what a wonderfully beautiful piece to be treated to.  I knew that you had to have one in here somewhere and I am glad that I found it.  Your writing is growing with each new post you make.  Loved this one bunches.
