So Much Beauty In The World

There is so much beauty in the world in which we live
Flowers that kiss the raindrops and hearts with love to give
Trees of majestic height birds with songs to sing
Waves that whisper secrets and loves truth which rings

This world has miracles we see them each and every day
A hand stretched out in friendship, a kind word to say
Angels roam around this land bringing love and light
Miracles touch us everywhere every day and every night

This world has ways of truth that if we seek shall be found
The laughter of a child, it's one of lifes' purest sounds
The sound of a baby taking its first breath as its born
The gentle sigh as the world wakes to a brand new dawn

This world is full of love, which blossoms everywhere
Reach out and touch a heart, show someone that you care
Love there is in the breath of an angel as she passes on by
It's there in the touch of a mother who can't see her child cry

There is laughter in this world it's there if you really look
So grab onto a rainbow reach up with a smile and hook
Bring your laughter from your dreams wrap them in a grin
Spread the laughter about you, loves smiles alway win

Marsha I do so love your upbeat outlook on life..I really like so many of the heart warming poems you write....between you and Marge Tindal it gives my spirit a lift when I read your poetry and you're getting better all the time.....found this little gem on the second page with nothing but a goose egg and well I can't stand to see anything looking that lonely not have a visitor...God bless ya kid!!!!.......not even a young woman doctor.. I couldn't consider a young one...when I mean young I don't mean in their 20's or 30's I mean in their 40's  keep that cupid eye open for me......ethome

Marsha,
This is such a wonderful poem. It's good to read a HAPPY poem every once in awhile!   You paint some beautiful images here, and you've reminded us of some things we can be thankful for!!   Thanks for posting.

Ethome, thank you kid   I always think and I might be quite wrong, that if I do my Pollyanna bit life will smile. Besides it takes less muscles to smile than it does to frown. And last but not least smiling is good for you. Thanks for rescuing this from ignominy, it would be a shame if it didn't get to spread some smiles around.

Oh and I'm looking, so how fussy are you, there's a girl with a squint,   Oh and ages how old are you prepared to go?

Circe love, that is why I posted it to spread some smiles. Really pleased you like it, look after yourself

LoveBug, it does make a nice change, and a smile is catching you know. Try it and see, send that smile out and it does come back.
Take care

I think you are a miracle...

Kari, No not me love, that's you, because you spin beauty always. Now I'm just one of the run of the mill women. (No better than most, and probably a lot worse than others   )
Thanks love
