last one for a while..off to vegas for Thanksgiving ..wish me luck ha
Happy Thanksgiving everyone...

the title originally said
NO FISHING ALOUD
but i guess you can fish quietly

Please stop pitching your tent
in the campgrounds of my heart

you wade through my bloodstream
baiting with memories

trying to hook me
only to tease me
and throw me back in again

spinning, luring
memories through my mind

casting your sweet kisses

im not falling
hook, line, and sinker anymore
only for you to fry me
in the campgrounds of my heart

you know there are plenty
of fish in the sea..
so why do you keep casting
your memories to me

Maybe he realizes that once you have caught the prize fish, then the rest don't measure up.  Sounds as if maybe you need to steal his bait and leave him with an empty hook to me.  Nice write my friend.

Victoria

Im sorry this guy in the poem has been leading you along and then dropping you like a hot potato. Noone deserves to feel that way and i dont blame you for not falling for his bait anymore. Good Luck! Take care, Lisa
