When You Came Along Undercover

In the dark of night, yet in moonfilled sky
stars glisten the moist of the air.
Words trickle down, touching in warmth
undercover, of comfort, now bare.

They kiss tenderly, moving gently in touch
rising the passion that heats.
Satin, the feel, in the blue of the night
two weaving 'gainst silken of sheets.

When you came along, masked in unknown
each time, I noticed a feel.
Familiar to me, you seemed tenderly
a dream in the making, come real.

Do you know what it does, to my heart when you're near
Do my eyes show, by flirting your blues?
Do you wonder the whys or the hows came to be
That my thoughts are arrested by you?

No mistaken the tracing of edges on edge,
Nor the tallness, against which I lean.
And the softness of kiss, as lips caress lips
I envision each night in mind's screen.

Undercover of you, undercover with me
Soon before year ends in one.
A memory that thirsts, for the moment of firsts
to savor, as each day is done.

I can't stand to see any one with a 0 beside their name...well, I'm glad I dropped in on this romantic gem of poetry...beautiful thoughts of intensely growing love and devotion
"Familiar to me, you seemed tenderly
a dream in the making, come real."

Good stuff!!
