Listening to every heart

I welcome thee softly

come pleasant
come in haste
arrive tonight
quarter of eight

and I will welcome thee
into my humble home
my abode
where I abide
astride
a dreamer’s ride
and where heaven
is waiting for thee

O come
come soon
‘neath light of moon
under winter’s sky
so I won’t cry
but rather

in the firelight
in the hue of gold
chase the cold
and play some
bold

come to me

seek my soul
safely shoal
all my fears
dry my tears
with silk so sheer

it takes your breath away

see me now
as I welcome you
for I have sought you

until you were found
right….here….

if I were to ask
no unpleasant task
but with emerald eyes
silently cry
your name

would you hear me

and feel the desire
the growing fire
on pillows pyre
and never tire

of the welcome that I give thee

would thee come
feel safe
deem content
soon after caress
spent
and in the solitude
of two
become one

would you know the welcome
of you in my heart

would you welcome the know
of you in my heart

as I have welcomed thee within?

Karilea
If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.

Kari,
With open arms and heart shown to the world
Karilea rides with flag unfurled
Bringing hope to all mankind
giving love, right here we find
shows us warm... welcomes in
In Karilea there is no sin
A loving heart a loving mind
All this in karilea we find.

'S wonderful. Sunshine what a brilliant job, my favourite verse is
and I will welcome thee
into my humble home
my abode
where I abide
astride
a dreamer’s ride
and where heaven
is waiting for thee

Write on

Kethry

Why Kethry, I do believe you've become verbose...and this pleases me immensely...just look what you did!  Wow!

Karilea  what did you say your address was? I don't believe I caught it the first time...

Seriously!!! I think it's a winner..great open expressions inducing sensations of warmth and feeling....

Oh yeah the address....geez I just got to see if it's really going to be like you say I just can't help myself...he he

Sunshine,
Well the welcome mat is out and quite a mat it is. A heart full of promises and a soul full of care. I welcome you to Shangri-La. *L*

Karilea

I pray my dear
your water supply -
does not run dry
for I greatly fear
if you came near
I'd need showers
within your bowers
frequent and often
each time I softened
(I could probably come up with more couplets
but you get the general idea) - whew - talk about sensuous invitations - wow - and double wow!

Karilea, any man who would say no to this would be certifiably insane!!!

I have little doubt that when he showed up he would indeed find Heaven waiting....

You are GOOD!!!!!!!!!

Kari, this is outstanding, it really is. They're all be flocking to your door love, you'll have to beat them off with a stick.
I really love this one too.
(Hey Kari, I can do C A, it's just it's called accentuating the positive.   Besides there's nothing to criticise ever love   )
Take care

Marsha, I for one have never doubted your many abilities...NEVER...and there is no need for a stick, just a sleeping draught to allow the imagination a rest...
