Love Comes Calling

If in some dream you ever find an answer to this
Please pass it onto me in the guise of a tender kiss
If you ever see Love performing her beguiling dance
Tell me of it and I'll grab this one fleeting chance
Love cannot be captured she's very wary of any snare
But one day I'll arrive and she'll be standing there

She whispers to me throughout the darkest night
Calling me to climb aboard her cloud and take a flight
But when I seek her in the bright light of the day
She's not there at all, she's drifted, floated far away
Why does she call me just to disappear when I hear
Why won't she stay, I can't find her if she's not near

You say that she has been round calling your name
Is that the truth or are you now playing some other game
I want so much to believe in you and in loves' kiss
I've had enough of heartache it's loves warmth I miss
Tell me when you see her and ask her to wait for me
I want to be a part of love I want my spirit to be free

If I open my heart will you take it and throw it away
Or will you treasure it, keep it safe forever and a day
I can't play this game and I don't even know how to score
I know I'm being suspicious I've never been here before
What are the rules of Love and her rather strange ways
So has Love already found me for in my heart she lays

Marsha

CoCo, it did? I'm glad, and thank you, truly, if it means something special to you I'm really pleased. And you are welcome.

Ethome of course I'm working, and really hard too. (Now if management could think of a way for me to juggle and sweep the floof they would) Ahh but the poetry is in between the stuff I get paid for, and helps me stay on track. After all the phone does shut up once in a while, not often but sometimes. Thanks love, and I'm going I'm going, anyone would think you were the boss man. (No you're far too nice for that, right.   )

Tony, thank you, it does? I'll take your word for it, don't tell anyone but it's not really me it's the magic poetry fairy sshhh!)

Take care
