Do you hear the heartbeat?
White feather the poems are calling
Do you feel friendship's heat?
White feather the poems are calling

Do you sense the sadness,
White feather the poems are calling
An absence of all gladness?
White feather the poems are calling

Do you feel the pull and tug,
White feather the poems are calling
Surrounded by the warmest hug?
White feather the poems are calling

Do you miss the repartee?
White feather the poems are calling
Do you need the insanity?
White feather the poems are calling

The poems are calling loud and long
Come back soon and bring your song

SEA,
it's for Marge, who has temporarily left and as she has the Cherokee use name of White Feather I thought I could build on that.
Obviously misguided on my part.
Be well

Kethry!  Well done!

Wonderful poem and plea for one that means so much to us all.  When I saw the title I was drawn as I knew it was for Marge and I have one with the same title back in open 9.  I am sure she will return as soon as she is done pouting and she will love to see that she is missed.  YEAH, as if she didn't know already.

Kethry White Feather is very happy that you have paid her a fine tribute and you couldn'thave written it for a better poetic Jewell than White Feather...I think you are to be commended for your wonderful thoughts and work!!

Kethry-
i'm so happy to have found this..
what a wonderful penning for a
   very special lady...
she certainly is missed, and i'm sure,
when she is ready, our White Feather
will gently float in on a breeze..
   wonderfully rhythmic write.

Because I love the little Cherokee so much and you have penned one that deserves to be shared some more.  Your heart is a treasure as well Kethry, don't you ever doubt that.

Well I think she's pretty special too. The first poem I ever read here was one of Marge's. It touched me in ways I can't even begin to describe. Thanks for the bump.

Coco, Thanks for the comment on the explanation if it helped then it's good. Thanks also for the unique comment (did you mean weird)*laughs* I like your style too gurl.

Be well

Kethry~
As we gather together to celebrate the
rites of the Thanksgiving holiday -
I will think of you and be thankful for
your friendship.

May the Great Spirit bless and keep you.
May you greet the sunshine with a smile.
May you know that these moccasined feet
walk with you in friendship.

I thank you for this lovely gift and will
share it with my family.
Love
