Snow’s Lovers

Settle of snow,
once soft with promise
stiffens into glacial indifference,
peaks coated in frosted layers
as suitors come and go,
rare blue moon covets &
casts a spell of unearthly glow,
tall ancient spires long for
silvery sheaths of hoarfrost
but spring, spring is the lover
that melts.

Hello fellow Snow Bunny   I just got done
sending "snow photos" to all my southern
friends with wishes of sunburns to
them...LOL   Love your weave...it is a
beautiful sight isn't it...I truly do love
the snow and the beautiful picture it paints
outside   to bad I couldn't have 70 degree
weather and snow...

Beautifully done.
I miss winter. I've been in Florida for 3 1/2 yrs now and I am really missing the seasons this year.
I enjoyed this one. Great imagery, let me feel like I was there, enjoying the snow.

Yes, it's beautiful unless you are knee-deep in it!  There are so many endless images to be written about with snow, and Corinne, this did you proud!
