I Envy Them

The wind whispers your name as she passes on by
I envy each bird as they swoop in the blue sky
I watch the bees as they hum and busily fly
I even envy the delicate winged butterfly

The sun as she smiles radiating her warmth to me
She can see your face. Oh how I wish I were she
She can touch you where I want, need so to be
I envy her your warmth please send it to me

The stars that glisten up in the heavens so bright
Sparkle over you bathing you in their soft light
I envy them that they can gaze in utter delight
They watch over you throughout the quiet night

The air itself caresses you with it's tender sigh
It strokes your skin as you would touch my thigh
Caresses that make my spirit fly free and high
I envy the air wishing I were that soft sigh

Take back the hope you gave,- I claim
Only a memory of the same

Ethome, again I thank you, I truly do, I pleased the warmth came through. I didn't want the envy to be akin to jealousy, which is one of the most destructive emotions I know of. I'm really pleased you like this. And I do really appreciate your visits to my stuff. (I know you just want access to those superlatives, I told you I'll share them with you. What you don't trust me? Honest guv'nor I'll divie them up fairly) Honestly, I will. It's no good I can't do the innocent look.
Take care

Amy, oh thank you love, you are far too sweet. I'm pleased you liked it, I thought I'd go for something simple this time. (Truth is I didn't have very long so I jotted this down in between being poisoned by our canteen food, and doing what I get paid to do.) Shhh don't tell anyone, or I'll get moaned at. The boss will get really irate, he'll say tut!
Anyway I'm glad you stopped by it is noticed and I'm thankful.

Mushy,
I envy the way you are able to string ordinary words  together and come up with something so simple yet stunning.
