Buried In Your Pen
Virginia Salter

Yes
that’s where they are
all those tales
you’re going to tell
all those promises
you make so well
all those apologies
you plan to spout
the way you come in
the  way you go out.

Yet
in there, too,
are lovely whims
within the ink
there’s wondrous verse
that soothes the soul, cures the curse.

What shall it be
a wield of power
or words that fail
within your cower?
What will you choose
to share as can
that which destroys
or uplifts man?

i marvel at the power of the written word and i marvel at the way you put such ideas across...

what will you choose
to share as can
that which destroys
or uplifts man?

Kit, Kaile, and g...

Thank you for reading.  You had to dig deeply to get to this one.  I so appreciate that and you wonderfully kind words.  You've touched my heart with joy.

VAS~

'lovely whims
within the ink'

Yes, indeed that expresses it well.
Enjoyed these thoughts.
