Upon her wings of black she fly’s Spreading pain and death Across the dark and swirling skies Bearing a message from hell Pain and suffering follow her Like a cloud of acid rain Her hatred runs perpetually deep Almost passing through her veins She looks akin to angles With violet eyes and golden skin But with her claws she mangles Those who were her next of kin She sold her soul to Satan Oh so many years ago Now she forever serves Humankind’s oldest foe The orders of her master Never vary, change, or halt Bring pain and suffering all night long Mostly to those with fault She follows her orders with utmost care For eternity looms ahead Why displease the master And to forever live in dread Here within the darkness In this world we call hell All the souls of the damned For eternity dwell She sits upon a boulder Near the cavern wall Thinking of the past And falling deeper into withdrawal The memories come unbidden Flooding through her mind All the evil deeds she’s done And of the peace she’ll never find On all-hallows eve On the same night every year She fly’s across the midnight skies Spreading pain and fear This is her only duty Fulfilled with utmost hate To think she sold her soul for this All for an ungrateful mate Mysterious is the shadow, walking down the path of light. ~~ ¥ ~~ |

I think if you had Dante's inferno playing in the background you'd really set the scene for this one.......very dark stuff Drake but the rhyme scheme is very good and the dark picture is well painted....ethome |
