I needed a little shove
Before I told her she was my love
But as time went by
It became my unconditional cry

It is my belief
Her love brings hearts relief
She's a golden treasure
That brings my soul pleasure

Her smile lights me on fire
Making her happy my only desire
As you all can see
She was made just for me

      To all of you

She can make you laugh and cry
She can make you shiver and sigh
For in her poetic weave
She makes you believe

  That her heart is true

   I LOVE YOU MY WIFE

poem...but with me as your muse...better
keep a pencil handy sweetie    I'm very
proud of you for posting this as a gift to
me...after being married for this long you
think I would have known there was a weaver
in there   Love you too~

Now listen here see
My wife wrote one and only one poem for me and then she clammed up

you had better write more than this for her cuz once she has seen it she'll nag:

"Aww come on that was sooo awesome you gotta write you gotta write more..."

that's what i say at least

First I have to join in and say welcome to passions, and secondly I have to tell you that I am sure BDC loved this immensely,
there is no greater gift to a woman than a
gift of words from a heart.  Well done.

Victoria, Maria, Tier, Irish rose and Gentle spirit thx for the welcomes and the kind replies.
I really only expected a few replies (the ones my wife paid to reply) so all of the replies that I have gotten is a suprise.  BDC is special to me and I posted this so she could see my love for her in a weave.  Thx again.

Welcome to the posting side of Passions and just to let you know...you made a wonderful start with this poem.  It is always nice to see a husband and wife posting together and writing for each other but when one means as much to the masses as your butterfly then it means so much more.  Your show of love in your poem goes much further than the words in it and I look forward to reading more of your works.

Weaver,
What is evident is that you love your wife, so do we. What is not evident is why you can't see your own talent. Welcome to passions and I say with hope...
