A calm silence can be heard
within the still of the night
dreamers dreams are stirred

Hidden under the moonlight
the dreams of the world exist
within the still of the night

The earth blanketed in mist
underneath moonlit skies
the dreams of the world exist

Nature hears the sighs
lovers fall in love
underneath moonlit skies

A silver moon shines above
across the boundaries of space
lovers fall in love

Here in this quiet place
across the boundaries of space
calm silence can be heard
dreamers dreams are stirred

On the wings of words our spirits fly, and our souls are free.

I love moonlight skies. That's when I have my open thoughts ramble on up to the stars.

No one's mentioned yet the difficulty of writing a terzanelle. This was a highly competent attempt,I enjoyed it a lot, you've put effort into this,I can tell.

Joy, when we can ramble to the stars......I think sometimes that's when I do some of my best ramblings.
Thanks so much.  *s*

Ethome, thanks so much for such kind words.  *s*

Wynter, I am humbled...thanks so much.

Tony, thank you.  I did this as a challenge else where, and yes it is a very hard form to do
and I had to think real hard to do it.....lol....there was probably
even smoke from thinking
so hard...*chuckles*  Thank you.

Sven, dreams my friend are what keeps us on a steady balance.  Dream away, dream away.....
Thanks!!

Thanks all,
D

this is very well done...
wonderful mystical imagery with the moons influence and the dreams essence
and you have made the difficult format of this style of poem seem easy
wonderful writing
take care
