Before you all worry this it isn't about me right now, but it being my blue week some old feelings came crawling out of the corners of my mind. So I thought I excise them by writing them down.

I'll Not Ask You Questions

Will time always play it's lonesome game confusing me with it's tricks?
Stretching minutes into years, and churning me in it's swirling mix
It's been a thousand lifetimes since I last looked into your eyes
A million seperate moments and each one filled with my hearts sighs
The truth of where you are and whether you are truly missing me
I can't bare to ask the questions for the answers might just kill me

If I found the answers to the questions that torture my aching heart
Are the ones I think they are then I'll have to say it's time for us to part
Time we said held no fears for us, the arms of love held us safe and tight
But now it seems as if the truth is threatening to shut me off from your light
Love I've always believed is waiting warmly in your eyes just for me
But now I think that there's another love there waiting for me to see

I might be wrong in the thoughts that scamper around my crazy mind
I can't bare to look too closely because I'm scared of just what I'll find
A million stars looked down as we made promises sweet and true
Now a great black cloud hangs over me as I search all about for you
My heart hasn't changed her mind she is still enthralled by your touch
My arms, my soul tell me constantly that they still miss you so very much

So I'll not ask any questions but please keep telling me your sweet lies
Beacause I just can't bare to hear your heart singing to me it's goodbyes'
Please don't tell me that you are going to be leaving me so very soon
Let me just once more sit and gaze in love, as we did, at our own moon
My heart after tonight will pack her bags and head into the cold of day
Leaving my soul crying, sobbing that she'll never again come out to play

Take back the hope you gave,- I claim
Only a memory of the same

Ethome, thank you, I was sitting thinking, waiting for the next flurry of activity, and this came slithering out. This is about the end of something when you really don't want it to. Knowing that you need to say goodbye but hoping that it's not. A case of hope triumphing over experience, there speaks the eternal optimist. Glad you liked it. Truly I am.

Amy, thank you love, I'm really pleased you liked it. And pleased that it isn't happening to me, and if it is happening to someone they have my sympathy.
Take care

This is great, Marsha! The questions that bombard us constantly and are most important are sometimes the very ones we suspect we don't want to know the answers... for while ignorance isn't bliss, it beats despair. *S*

Isn't it amazing of the beautiful works that come out of just the briefest of moments of reflection?  Thought this one is sad in it's story, it has a beauty to it that really reaches deep into the heart.  Lovely verse and I hope that the reflection has helped answer some of your questions.  Sometimes the feelings of "BLUE" are a welcome change just so that we don't lose sight of our emotions.

Southern, yes that's it, ignorance isn't bliss but sometimes the truth isn't what you really want to hear right at that time. I'm glad you liked it

Mark my friend, it isn't the roller coaster ride I mind so much, I know it's thrilling but I sometimes wish it didn't feel quite so manic. Thank you for your compliments, I agree that sometimes BLUE isn't so bad, because it can make me look forward to better times. I'll never be the type to keep my emotions hidden, I've never been the shy retiring rose type. (Daphnie and Sue are wetting themselves at the very idea, that's it I'm getting the leg irons back out.   )

Take care

Those lines really jump out at me.  Very honest and well written.

BWA, thank you, sorry I didn't reply to this earlier, it has been just a little more manic than normal. I do appreciate you taking the time to read and reply I really do.
