The heat of the sun rises with passion
as morning dew kisses the earth
you should have seen this morning
but your heart bled, upon loves hearth

ballet of clouds dance happily by
you should have seen this morning, bright
orchestra of birds, sang out their love
their wings in the wind, of dawns light

you were crying alone on your pillow
Did you hear this morning chime?
open your eyes, and see the bluebirds
singing a chorus of dawns rhyme

you should have seen this morning
but robins eyes, a birdbath of tears
     please stop with loves mourning
dry your eyes and listen with your ears

Beautiful work, Victoria. The imagery was fantastic!

Even during our times of sorrow, nature just keeps on rejoicing and it is our choice if we will join her or not...  A very nice reminder.  Bob <><

Victoria, that last line really wrapped it up beautifully

Just doing some reading before bed. Glad I came across this. Very nicely done. I will be listening when I awake in the morning

Evening Victoria,

A well said message in this writing that I see. And yes, it is a shame that at times we do not listen with our ears.
