Good morning restless choir songs,
invading passages their scores.
Fire and ice fray headstrong,
the traveller's place unsure.
Bold actors chant self serving
impromptu at the door.

Good morning lights encroaching,
icy fingers stab the glass.
Sleek swords of light in motion
cutting shadows on the sash.
The looking glass creeps open,
enticing golden bowls to act.

Good morning clocks keep seeking
the conscious thoughts to flow.
Dream sailors are retreating
Eldorado's shores of gold.
A mirage of goals conceding...
the slumbering lids unfold.

Good Morning!!

Good morning right back...this was quite interesting to read so early...

made me wonder at your reference to "golden bowls"...

but all in all, a lovely dream that would ask me to pull the coverlets back over my head and seek one more hour of bliss...

Sunshine the Bible refers to the golden bowl as the skull and the area that holds the brain and creates thought pattern..don't you dare ask me how I know that!!.. hence my reference to the same thing in the poem on this page ..Grandpa.....ethome...

Ethome, another beauty, and good morning to you, except that I've had the morning and am now at work. Wonderful amazing write, and I'd add some others but you've got my whole stack there. Can't you just sling me a few back?   Utterly great work, and I really love this one.
Take care

Ethome, I'm still at work, but I need Passions to keep me on track. Well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. This is such a great poem, that I've printed it out and stuck it in the hallway. Where it will be read by all those lucky ones who are only visiting here. (Lucky because they don't have to eat here   )
It really is a fantastic read. I'd have left a pen and some paper for comments but it wouldn't stay there very long. Thanks for giving me a smile.
Take care

Good morning whispers soft
As I wake to face the day
Good morning plays on sunsplashed bed
And your words send me on my way
Good morning drifts on coffeed lips
That tease with a tender kiss
Good morning said with sweet sweet rhyme
Every day should start like this...
...morning friend...

Ethome, it'll be morning in about 30 secs, so seems like a good idea to send this one back to the front page. (I'll use any old excuse me, and sometimes even none at all.
Still say this is an excellant poem. It also got quite a few readers while it was on the wall, it would have got more except that someone obviously wanted it so much they walked off with it. Either it's by now been circulated around the navel dockyard, or it's walked into the doctors mess. Didn't I tell you they were a tricky lot.
Take care
