Everything Exists Forever

Oceans transfix the sandy shore
Ever mixing present and past.
Forever merging making more
But non will ever come to last.

The hand of new is never done
It circles in eternal lease
Enzymes chyme is forever spun
The sands of time will never cease.

And the elements sing their song
Reacting to the heat and cold
Weather quick in rupture or long
The new forever turns to old.

Illusion is the rhyme and chime
All that is will forever be
Illusion is the face of time
What ever is will always be.

I tell you true there is nothing new.
It only seems that way to you.
Existence to us is quite serious but
Being here is totally mysterious.

Ah, yes, conservation of matter.  Everything will always be, but not always in the form we see.

Wonderful poem.  Everything is as one being, forever bound to becomings. Enjoyed the read.

Seymour you've gone on quite a philisophical trip here...your right, time will never die and forever will always be, time will change things into different shapes and forms, oceans will eventually erode cliffs and wind and rain will wear down mountains..until another cycle goes through..I love the last part...we take life serious.. but can't explain the mystrey of our own consciousness and our abilty to reason and plan ahead????

Hey man at leat you've got the courage to write about this....good stuff!!

It is a mystery indeed. Nothing new, we just keep recyling.

We are a circle of light unbroken,
only love and poetry will remain ...
keeping the secrets still unspoken,
no questions left to answer ...
no promises of time to be broken.

Fate's gift of renewal found in the past
poetic wisdom written in stone ...
lessons learned  ... truths to last,
constant as the seasons change ...
evolutions incantation has been cast.

We are lyric, verse, and rhyme,
we are bound to the the shifting sands of time ...
we are destiny's design.

Time is such a trickster
weaving in sublime
then turning it around until
it's made into a rhyme

Sy...I love the way you think!
