Can you not see the pain you cause her
Or is it simply that you do not care
The weight of your sins and shame
She can no longer bare

Quietly I've stood in the shadows
But now it's time I had my say
Your actions speak louder than your words
And for that you shall pay

I am not here to judge
But you break her heart time and time again
As if her life is some sort of game
That you play, wanting to win

She is your daughter
Yet you treat her so cold
And I'm really tired of just watching
This is way past being old

I know you think I'm nothing
And I am just talking to a wall
I am only trying to warn you
Before you trip and take your final fall

The lies you have told her
Are slowly ripping her apart
You are not only destroying her soul
But you are tearing out her heart

If the light in her eyes ever goes out
I shall never forgive you
She is more precious than you will ever know
You seriously have no clue

You cast your sins and shame upon her
And use her like a pawn
I should have seen this was happening
Been going on for so very long

I don't pretend to understand the whys
Some things are just meant to be
But I promise you one thing
From these chains she will be released, and her soul will fly free

Your game stops here and now
She is your daughter, not some pawn to use
Plain and simple
I will no longer tolerate this abuse

My mother is gone, never to come back
You have no idea what you're throwing away
