This poem is a collaboration with someone who wishes to remain nameless, so in respect I will not name, names, But I do want to give credit where it is due.

The day begins with you
and memories of the night before…
a smile
drifts across your lips
as you sleep
your scent
fills me
as your touch
still grips me
in remembered need.

I strive for balance,
within the sensations you awaken,
but float
lost
tossed
on a sea of desires
storm flecked waves.
rising up and cresting
drowning thought…

movement stills
a sigh
breath slowing
casual
knowing each tactile thought
will hold the image
languid fingers trailing over naked landscape,
reveling in contact,
floating in the warmth
of flesh at ease
relaxed
serene
fully alive

fluttering lashes,
with ease we fall to one another once again,
no conscious thought,
our bodies merely seek
and find the perfect time
where rhythm and endless motion
meet without restraint
as waves crashing against the shore
bubbling
gurgling
sinking into each other
as the sun rises
blesses
and consecrates
paradise found.

Why do yesterdays remain and todays pass by ...unnoticed?

Kethry, another wonder of your penmanship, and whoever collaborated with you complimented your style beautifully. This is truly paradise discribed, and so well written. Love this one as I always do.
Take care

It was a friend who called himself the fool, I've not heard from him for a year. I don't even know if he's still writing. I miss him though he was one of the most sensitive poets I ever knew. i was priveleged to be able to write with him.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
