Forevering

~*Marge Tindal*~

She walks the night of widowed halls
down corridors of memoried walls
touching tenderness of recall
framed mementos of forevering

It isn't supposed to be like this
reposed in yet undiscovered bliss
beckoning heat of lovers kiss
to fall from lips - forevering

No-glare glass gives not a clue
no reflected memories due
no - no - no - repeats imbued
Oh, where does she find forevering ?

Marge that's such great work! I don't know where you keep coming up with them but your just simply a fountain of poetic charm ..grabbing the reader and charming him/her right out of their poetic boots.... I love the idea of this lonliness and the forevering ........clever stuff!!

Marge,
Simply beautiful, a touch of genius. That loneliness so well identified is reminiscent of the reality of the many who endure it.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

Marge, this is a beautiful piece. I don't get to read very much in here, but every time I open one of your posts, I get a big treat! Thanks for sharing.

Marge,
Beautiful poem...I like the word "forevering" It's all something we seem to do but its cruel to ourselves,  what fixedness in wanting things to last forever, but bound in nature, by God (if believe in God) things don't. Nothing wrong with some changes once in a while, but I don't understand why things must die outright, cease, and be taken right away from us.  Things are taken away and I wonder why i believe in God still when he never says the reason.  Perhaps because I think too much their should at least be a reason when there's probably not.  Sorry for going on..been in weird moods lately.  Enjoyed this poem much.

take care

there is rapture on the lonely shore
there is society where none intrudes

Marge~

The emptiness and memories echo throughout each line.  I can hear them in my mind.  Well done my friend.  What a lovely word forevering.

PoeMinister~
When we set our hearts on a path of forevering
there is the light of hope to lead us.
If and when the light goes out -
forevering is found in memories.
He promised us seasons - not always reasons.
Big hugs to you and thank you for your honest comments.

LoneWolf~
Thank you, hon.
I know you can relate.
And isn't it just a beautiful word ?

FlyHigh~
Thank you.  I hope you enjoy it many times.

I certainly concur on the beauty of the word.
It just conjures up the most memorable moments
of time and etches them on our hearts.

Always so nice to see your replies, my friend.
