Searching Under A Cloud

~~Daniel J D~~

This amazing feeling surmounts
Stumbling along I dismount
Into the wilderness of confusion
This clouded memory shows no compassion

Where do I resume the search
For the person that I am, or was
The cloud is intense, thick and dark
Do I wait till it vanishes
And the blue of the sky shines
Or the moonlight silhoueting me.

If I could wake to another wish
Taking away all my pain, in the mist
Of the morning calm, so fresh
To begin another path, a new light
Under no cloud to darken my mind
Waking me up from times I was blind

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love
(Daniel J D)

I think most of us have walked within this cloud a time or two in our lives...you describe the feeling so very well.  May you find the light at the end of the cloudy tunnel soon! This is excellent writing Daniel~

You know what I think, no - have learned...all of our pain helps create those new paths..and helps us to appreciate them all the more...

it can be hard finding them though can't it?

Good write Daniel...

Like a human, heavy and heavy,
Who does not care.

Butterflies,
Thank you kindly. I do hope to wake up and find myself, again. Hard road, but has to be travelled.

Severn,
Your words are well appreciated, thank you kindly.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

JD~
If that cloud
won't pass on by
come share my umbrella
when that cloud cries

Take my hand
and walk with me
we'll find the sunshine
I guarantee !

And when the darkening cloud
is gone -
it's smiles galore
from here on !

*Smile* my friend.
*Hugs*

Daniel, what I read here is intense...but it may be only to me...

so I can only say, know how much I appreciate these words, that they are here because you took time to share them...

thank you...

I thank you so much for your warm and comforting words. You are a gift sent from above. I feel a lot better now.

Sunshine,
So clouded our existence can be. I thank you so much for the support.

The best cure for getting rid of these clouds I find is physical pleasure--a massage, tis the best way...i would reccomend going to the massage parlor perhaps --takes my clouds away.  But thats just me...you might've tried that already...but hope your not that bad that a massage doesn't work!  Anyway, hopeing things will look up your for you.  Wonderful write.

Take care

there is society where none intrudes
by the deep sea, and music in its roar
I love not man the less but nature more

I know that cloud to well.
and this verse sound hopeful, and
I wish that you will wake without pain,
to begin another path

Poeminister,
I appreciate your advice. I am afraid I am not into this sort of cure.

Paula,
Glad to know you are always there. Love you too.

Tracie,
Thanks so much. Yes, I do hope that sun shines soon.

Kethry,
Thank you so much, I am glad so many people care.

Charisma,
Your support is comforting. At times you just want to close your eyes for a moment, and hope that when you open them again all your problems have vanished. Here is hoping.

Interloper,
Thank you, I shall take heed of your message.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love
