Somewhere, someone loves me.
Someone thinks I'm great - Gee Whiz!
I can't begin to tell you
Just how wonderful that is!
Someone out there takes the time
To tell me "I love you."
Somewhere, someone loves me...
What a special thing to do!

Somewhere, someone holds me
In extremely high regard.
What have I done to merit
Such a wonderful reward?
Someone takes the time to look
At things that most don't see.
Somewhere, someone loves me...
How that means the world to me!

My life's gone by unnoticed,
Just a small face in the crowd
And when I speak my mind, it doesn't
Come out very loud.
I stand - but, even when I do,
It doesn't make me tall
And no one ever makes me think
I matter much at all.

But someone, somewhere loves me.
What a glorious surprise
That someone thinks that I am
Very special in their eyes.
It only takes a single voice
To start my life anew...
Somewhere, someone loves me...
Hey, there! Someone! I love you!!!!

It is very easy for me to believe that someone loves you. I am so glad that you have that someone special. I don't know you personally but I have met your HEART
in your poems.

Well let me take a number ...
then I'll get in line ...
Eventually I'll get my chance
to tell you I love your rhyme

I know theres a lot of competetion
so many poets ahead of me ...
All hoping for the chance
to keep you company

I better think of an ace
something to make you walk the line
I know ...Ive got a plan
Ill bring a foot long Spam-marine sandwich ...
and a bottle of wine
(hehehe)

Paula...you certainly are and I love ya, too!

saxoness...everyone receives your big hugs with pleasure

ethome....glad you enjoyed. This is the kind of style I enjoy, too. Thanks for the wishes!

butterflies....that's a good girl   Now go to bed! LOL!

Martie...thank you but the last woman who said I do I do to me got me in a lot of trouble!

inot2B...what a special thing to say! Thank you very much for that....

Rose...and so is your reply. Very glad to see you...

Janet Marie..you don't need to take a number for anyone and you don't need to bring any inducements, either. (uh, was that on white or rye?)   Thank you, my beautiful-voiced friend, as I have recently been advised

I got a chain letter in my email once. Actually, I got it in all four of my email boxes.  It was one of those continuing poem-like things that everyone was supposed to add to.  The line was "Somewhere, someone..." and you were supposed to fill in the blank.  That was one of the most touching chainletters I've ever seen.  Some of the things that the someone's somewhere did, said, thought, touched, etc were very very sweet and sad and happy and everything!  And this poem reminded me of that.

'deer: it's not me...I don't love you..oh no!!!

~pause~

Ok, so I lied...

You know that there is a 'deer devotee in a corner of the Sth pacific right?

(And really - we do have some of the nicest golf courses ok so I expect to see you out here on them one day...preferably having arrived by jet...   )

Hugs on the fine sentiments...

I can't even begin to say how much I loved this Michael! What a wonderful flow, and such sweet and endearing sentiments. Funny how we don't know how much we can touch someone from a'far ... and yet, somehow, somewhere if we're really lucky, we do. You've done this so many times for me, I do hope you know it's returned, you are special.

Love ya,
/Kit

All right... I admit it... I luv ya too.... But I'm NOT standing in any line... unless of course it's very warm where ever that line is... and I can cut to be up in the front... and of course you'll have to give up that silly "fore" game you play... and I'll be needing a new mercedes... and I like gold jewelry and expensive perfume... and I surely do hope you can cook.....

but about the poem... Goshogollygeewillikers... it's so somewhere else! er ... i mean you're something else! umm.. er... i mean, you're somewhere else! hehe *wink*

didn't someone recently say something about st-st-st-uddering? oh never mind... all i can say is, that's easy for YOU to say but as for me, i'd have a hard time putting something like this in words because nobody would believe me anyway *g
((((((hug))))))))

and besides that....

Needing to re-emphasize this thought today~

'Just a small face in the crowd
And when I speak my mind, it doesn't
Come out very loud.'

I find these words circling ... circling ... circling this day~

Thank you, Balladeer~

Someone whispered in my ear,
that they thought they loved our Deer!
I can't remember now just who,
but thought I should tell this to you.
