she has walked
with the wolf
through the forest of her life

it has stayed
by her side
through good times and bad

giving her strength
guiding her home
when the dark of night came

protecting her heart
helping her see
even though she doesn't know the way

the wolf howls
the water shimmers
and the moon shows to her eyes

. . . home. . .

to have the mountain lioness walk with the wolf is a most wonderful picture, especially in the moon's shine...

Cat will love this...

Another excellent painting with words, Sven....a fitting tribute for a poet who has given me the pleasure of her talent with every poem she pens
