Reflecting on what's just occurred
In joy I slip quietly from the bed
To search my mirrored face for signs
As I remember this

Lips swollen, heavy from passion
Cheeks flushed from generated heat
Languidness throughout my limbs
I sigh as I remember this

All night tonight the signs were there
Electric sparks that flowed and surged
Looks that asked, confirmed the need
Oh yes, I will remember this

How sweet the touches when they came
How hands lovingly sculpted bliss
How well we danced that last refrain
Forever, I'll remember this

Beautifully done, Peppermint. The moments just after such a "special" time are just as special themselves. Lovely thoughts, tastefully written. Thank you ~
