I’m not a poet
And I know I show it
But nothing thrills me
More than to read your poetry

Please keep writing of treasures
Let me share in your pleasures
This is how I get to roam
Without leaving my home

Lost love and new found ones
Even some of your old reruns
Has left me in tears
Others have made me cheer

Nothing is nicer than going on line
To see what you’ve started this time
It lets me know everything will be ok
Because you made it to another day

inot2B,
you lie, you are a poet or at least you have a poet's soul. Really liked this one.

Write on

Not a poet? I beg to differ. And reading was what drew us all here. There are days/weeks/months that I don't post but do nothing but read. Thank you for being a part of the family.

I too must also beg to differ. . . I have enjoyed reading your poems. . .poet indeed you are. . .

and like deVine, I too take some days to do nothing but post. . . and search the archives!  That's fun too. . .

Read on my friend, I doubt you'll ever run out...and keep writing, nothing un-poetic about you!

INot2B~

Fiddle-dee-dee
Take it from me
The words I've read
from your poetic head
Set you up to be
one of importance to me -
a poet - a poet - a poet !

Pleased to have you here.
