"Sweetheart" Sitting here with heavy heart tonight Silent tears running down my face I softly think of you Knowing the pain that you are facing Can feel the pain on the chill of the night The pain that you face everyday I want to wrap you up with my blanket of love Want to chase those tears away forever Whispering the words I love you until you fall fast asleep in my arms Holding you tight against me as peace overcomes your face But you are there and I am here and unfortunately I can not I offer you everything I have and am, and all that I ask is that you accept You have a heart of pure gold and a soul that takes my breath away So I ask of you to share your life with me today and for always Knowing that together we can achieve the impossible And that a brighter tomorrow is on the horizon A day will come when we can face "her" together And from this pain you will be relinquished As skies of blue find their way to us and our hearts melt as one Under the silent stars above I gaze at them and wish On a falling star That wish is to be with you Laura-- whatever is happening tonight...please know i love you so deeply and i will always be here. all my love, amy [This message has been edited by Aimster (edited 11-10-2000).] |

Awe sweet Amy-girl...she knows. All that is happening to keep you two apart will only make the bond and the relationship that much stronger as long as you don't loose sight of the things that have drawn you together. You know I'm rooting for you!! Take care of you Sweetie!  |

Amy, this is such an amazingly loving poem. You and your true love will be together, I know. You will give her the shelter of a heart that will forever hold her in love, a soul that will soothe her troubles away and you fidelity. This is so full of your heart, I really love this one. Thanks for your support and love! This was my 1st real attempt at free verse. Glad you guys liked.  Holly-- thank you for that beautiful message of hope...i agree with you. she and i aren't really apart...just some things that are going on that are making her life very difficult right now...thus i am affected. awww and thanks for rooting for us. take care p.s. love ya girlie.
