Hand. ~~Daniel J D~~ Here I give to you Outstretched, open Weary, and dry Take it, feel it When you hurt It caressed your shoulders Embraced you Wiped away your tears Lost, it found you Picked you up, from despair Fed you, as you trembled Covered you, warming you It is tired The joints ache Years of caring Somehow, strong enough To caress you In your peaceful Final sleep.
