Who Hung That Moon ?
~*Marge Tindal*~

Now just who took that moon
and hung it so high,
to shine like a beacon
on an indigo sky ?

Who gave the splendor
of luna light's charm,
beaming soft and gentle
on lovers arm in arm ?

Who took that moon
and spun it with light,
then set it aglow
all over the night ?

It was you, Lord.
I know it was you.
It just looks like something you'd do.
That moon illuminates with your gentle grace,
letting me know there's a smile on your face.

Shining all over the surface of night,
Thank you, Lord.
You did it just right !

Amen, and I would have done it, if I could...just to get you to write about me!

Marge--if these storm clouds would just go, I could see it too...but instead I'll see through poetry and you.

Marge,
Well done, I really enjoyed this beautiful questioning style.

and spun it with light,
then set it aglow

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

Oh, my luna friend -
The drive home from work could have been
done without headlights tonight !
So crystal clear .... awesome !

I'll wish away those clouds so you can see her.

With a glow like that ...

Great style to open with Marge...questioning who created the wonderful qualities of the moon....got me right away ...then the reverence paid to the grand creator topped it off and made it a truly delightful poem.... well done as usual Marge!!

I think one of the reasons God made that moon, Marge, was so that it would shine on YOU, the way you shine on all around you. I'm happy to be caught in your glow.......

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect; it just means you've decided
to see beyond the imperfections.

I look out at night and forget to see the sights. My mind is cluttered with what is on the ground. NOT tonight I will go out and enjoy what God has set in the sky for all to know he's watching over us.
Marge thank you for reminding me I'm not alone. He always keeps a light on for us.

Marge, a delight for me to read this...

Did you catch the northern lights yesterday?
Our skies were clear here and what a site to behold but I've always adored that halo of glow from our moon

I say that the moon was given to us so that we could read all of the beautiful poems that you pen from it's beauty. Not only did the Lord give us a beauty to look at in the sky, but a beauty here on the earth(in YOU) to make us all really take notice of what heaven can be like and that makes me smile my sweet friend.

Was not able to see the Aurora Borealis,
but did follow the activity on the Internet sites.
I'm glad to know you shared that lovely glow of lunar delight.

MarkB~
You cause me to break out in a big grin !
Thank you.
I just love this poem, as it surely depicts
my talk with Him over the beauty he shared with me.

RainyDays~
Well, it was a colossal sight for sure !
Sometimes I think He dresses her up
in a spectacular glow just to see if we are looking !
I caught Him this time !
