The Shores of Alone

Fair maiden calls to him in vain.
Within her soul, a dark red stain.
Her knight indulged in cruelest game.
She's left alone to writhe in pain.

He conquered her and made his claim,
a valiant lover's passion feigned.
No thought for gentle heart he maimed.
Her crimson tears pour forth as rain.

Vilest deceiver, does he deign
to yet remember where he's lain?
She fears she has herself to blame-
His legend came before his fame....

Sandra, Desire and all it clamors...alive in that day, and yet again in your words.
Very much enjoyed.

Sandra,
I'm always glad when I see your name on the lists because it means the reading will be good. This is no exception. Exceptional piece of writing here and methinks, your heart went into the writing.

Sandra, once again your pain is felt with each word I read. I hope your true knight sweeps you off your feet soon. Ron
