a tether tied
in indecision
  avoiding life
   its imprecision
Hallucination
called a vision?
or is it just the other way...

no fight, no flight,
no demonstrations
  enough to find
   some short salvation
I tire of these
explanations
I pray for strength of faith to pray...

A wish for words
of absolution
  the gift to write
   sweet resolution
A yearning yield to
soul's solution
  My spirit beckoning, "come play..."

   too weary,
    to fight,
     my malaise...
too tired to brush tears away.

A great poem to bring so many thought's out.
Life is so simple and then we make it so complex.  I look forward to reading more.
I'm new to the board.  Roger

sen this is so sweetly you...
and this is so much a mirror ..as always
you have defined these emotions to the letter....
and I know baby...I know...
we are all moths waiting for our turn to fly like butterflies ....

reminded me a bit of a fav song.......one line in particular...***

Falling Down
Vetical Horizon

Where does the time go
Spinning my wheels
Standing still
It's like running on ice
I only gain a little distance when I fall
How did I become a molecule
In the concrete of this city
Indifferent to my endless motion
In a space too small to see
Nonetheless expected to be
I only get a little attention when I fall

Chorus:
And I'm falling
Falling down
Falling
Falling down

Cursed with reason
In a world so defiant
Without conclusion
This is the story
The story we live out
And it is the moral too
Look at me I'm falling for you
Shaking, crying
Hating lying to myself
***I'm tired of telling myself it's OK
To be this tired***
This sick and tired of the turns the world takes
And the people that it makes us be
And lately it appears to me that

Chorus

I'm falling down...

go out and play in the sunshine...or a moonbeam..which ever one suits your mood
(or sleep pattern)
*kisskiss*
love you my twin...muchly
me

I had to look up malaise in the dictionary.  *grins*
I especially like one lil ol line in particular, "I pray for strength of faith to pray..." That is so true.  I was watching Dogma the other night, and some of the things they made fun of in that movie were so true.  When I get around to forcing myself to go to church I see people who are there out of habit instead of to find spiritual guidance.  That is what I will pray for when I go to church now.  Instead of world peace (which truthfully would be boring), I'll pray for the strength of faith to pray.

Luvdit, luvdit lots!

serenity, not even chicken soup will help, this I know...

but I can offer Kleenex...and a shoulder...and a hug...

If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.
