Fairwell, My Dream

Remove and draw, window bare
control the sun no more
raise forth thy darkened silenced soul
to speak, breathe the still of air.

Draw nigh the calm
the storm hath passed,
denote a death of dream,
pray not venture into soul
my spirit hath prevailed!  fairwell,
my dream, fairwell.

Inspired by Michael's poem, "Purgatory".

Compassion--

welcome to Passions. I have seen your posts
to others works and was hoping I'd see
a poem of your own...now that I have...I
see that I was right, your poems are as
wonderful as your replies. Excellent poem!

Take care.
