since that precious day
when our sweet love was born
bright eyes and broad smiles
my face do adorn

when we're together
we share joy and laughter
and gently you hold me
till each sunrise after

and when to agree
we at times hesitate
our trust in each other
will help mediate

this love we two share
will soar freely forever
as soft as a prayer
on wings of a zephyr

Very nice, Vicky.  How DO you do it?  Is any challenge too tough for you to make something beautiful?  Apparently not!

Hey, do you know what?  I think ... no, I know that I really love this piece of yours.  I have read it many times now and finally caught my breath and decided to tell you how much I love it but I still don't have the proper words.  So, how good are you at mind reading my friend?  Do you think you can find out by searching my soul a bit?  You just get better as time goes on my friend.  Love it and sending hugs and love to my poet friend that wrote it too.
