I miss
skin-aged
cracked and leathery
                smooth
to touch

and

scents
of an orchard
        apples, cider spiced
among fields of
freshly torn tobacco
                honey-dipped
in vanilla

and

a
         voice
of baritone velvet
waltzing – through air
warmed in
soothing waves

and
         (and)

I miss him

In loving memory...B.L.S.
