Half Full

A voice is all
I have to hold
in times of desperation
and need.

A touch is all
I can recall,
when emptiness
inside me feeds.

A whisper kiss
to end all kisses,
a memory,
like treasured gold.

Banded to me,
now removed.
I am so suddenly,
feeling cold.

Whatever lays
ahead in time,
as sands turn over
to make each day,

I shall survive
and come the evening,
theses eyes of mixture,
shall reflect it's stay.

Focused on
another's blues,
to shed some warmth
of lending arms,

The Wynter's coming
just be prepared,
to consequences
of blended charms.

As each particle
becomes ingrained,
into your soul
of endless time,

Turn by turn,
the glass half full,
shall never empty,
in heart of mine.

"Farewell", I say.
"'Til next we meet".
Often I hear this
deep inside.

Awaiting turn,
the dreams shore up,
will slowly keep
me bound and tied.

Arresting me,
in shadow's light,
a hint to tease
of choices made.

The glass, half filled
will turn for days,
until these passions
have been allayed.

~Wynter Bliss

Certainly a poem of memories and a longing for that love gone...you will be fine, of that I'm sure. Winter may be a cold season, gives lots of time for reflection, but you are able to capture beauty and warmth in it, I've seen those in your other works, also I've seen some hint's of horizons in your work, so just keep your eyes on them. smile. always wishing you the best. This is a melancholy poem but it is stacked with the same kind of beauty that makes the heart realize that we all have problems but if we can get them out like this it's a real help to cleansing the soul....write to us ...we all know somewhere on the road, the one with twists and turns  where yesterday has fallen but you never know what's on the road ahead.......there's always sunshine after rain......have a good night!

The best thing about those coaster rides is they always end sometime, no matter how topsy turvy they make us and the nice thing about winter is that it keeps us looking forward to springtime...here's to a great spring

Oh WOW, I love this. Wynter's coming..perfect, let them all watch out..
This has so much in it, longing, sadness, and a hint of determination and maybe even a little payback..Am I reading it right?
Anyway, it's fantastic.
