Lush of green and birds that sing

Velvet valley lush and green
Lit in sunlight golden sheen.
Circled by the intertwine
Tall and silent spiny pine

Seated are the birds of morn
Watching early dewdrops born.
Eye about the coming day
Spread their wings and fly away.

Then fly about the lush of green
Warm in sunlight golden sheen
Circle round the intertwine
Settle on the silent pine.

Once more they sing in interplay
Spread their wings and fly away.
Search the meadows early fare
Eye the things that they would dare.

It's not a perfect world you see
For hunger never sets you free.

If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, then speak loudly and be bound.

Victoria,
Love when ever you visit me.

Ethome,
Your joy is my pleasure.

Nan,
Just your visit makes it better for me. *L*

JM,
If I bake the crust for apple pie
Then you are the apple of my eye.
