MarkB~ Moonlight Whispers

Marge~ A Heart Sighs ~

In the moonlight we find our destined dance
~ Once more leading to the edge ~
Resting in the winds of two lover's chance
~ touching the star-tinseled ledge ~
Breezes of sensuous nature soon to take hold
~ Billowing with rapturous delight ~
As this true friendship's story begins to unfold
~ the closer you come in the night ~

A walk in the innocence of midnight's chime
~ resounding sounds of the heart ~
A whisper sent through the bluegrass of time
~ falling of cupid’s dart ~
Time over eternity will be set to our own pace
~ whispered with fervent prayer ~
Until the time we are able to dance face to face
~ ever beloved wait I will bear ~

Two hands entwined in the light of Autumn's moon
~ Holding on for all time ~
Cupping the tender moments of winter to come soon
~ when knowing of hearts soon entwine ~
Tingles of sensations find fingertips in passionate haste
~ a moment meant for just who we are ~
Two hearts finding love within the lips of tender taste
~ what a sweet sensation you are ~

Rush not where tiptoe's silence is much better spent
~ remain in the echoes of time ~
Seek not the meaning of what is surely heaven sent
~ rest in the love light sublime ~
Hair flowing in the breezes of this chill kissed night
~ knowing the desire of this heart so true ~
As warmth is found in the eyes of true love's might
~ hold me in the sureness of you ~

*MarkB~, I thank you for your whispers ~
They are met with my sighs.
~*Marge*~

Marge, Mark, what a pair! Beauty and faith, a wonderful combination...

this is in the library, as well as in my own book, for a keepsake, just in case the computers crash in 2001!

Applauding...applauding...to the two poet laureates of Passions...

Marge, this is stunningly beautiful, Mark this is utterly divine, meshed together to make something so magical so awesome. I feel as if my soul was lying in an angels arms, and these words were breathed in my ear by a seraphim. This is wonderous, too amazing for me to put into words. I knew you were both extremely talented, and superb poets but this transcends that and becomes more than the total of the sum. This is so it's so...... Sigh
I LOVE THIS
Take care

Marge my sweet friend.  You have for the first time allowed me to really go back and
read and enjoy one of my poems.  Your addition to mine is so wonderful and makes mine even seem good to me.  I do so love to dance with a good partner and well my sweet, you may just have a full dance card for awhile.   I am so honored and so flattered that my words would lead to such a lovely response that I could never show you but the first time I get down to Florida way, I will be more than happy to try    Hugs and love to ya my tender Cherokee angel.
=============

To all that read and replied to this.....I am so very appreciative of your lovely and warm comments.  I am more than elated to say the least that you all found it so beautiful, but with the addition of Marge to it, well, it did sort of have a guarantee on it now didn't it.  Thank you all once again.

Mark~
You made it easy to be inspired.
I pulled your poem up during my lunch break
and immediately the words flowed from my heart.
The poem you wrote had to be DARNED GOOD to do that !

Thanks for liking the *sighs* ...
you're a pretty special fella, you know.
Your friendship is special to me and if and when you
get to Florida ... we'll have that dance,
I promise.

*Hugs* for you from me ...
Love you~

My, my, but to be able to weave words so beautifully without even so much as a break in the rythm of the piece but, instead so well woven you can not see the seams, is true poetic art. I commend you both for such craftmanship, well done.
