You Would See Winter

Glance, my way,
today,...
You would see Winter.

Biting.
Battles fighting,
in my own back yard.

And me, Chasing
the chill exuding.

Framing the eyes,
jaded and bare.

Icicles tearing,
through dreams outdated.

And me, Tasting
the smile's hibernation.

Feeling, the beaten paths
dug.

He won, again, seasoned
the time, with a pinch
of flake.

Gaining on my little
world, all of me to take.

So now, if you glance my way,
today,.....
You would see Winter.

No, don't mention winter!! Brrrr
I liked this..but I prefer an October cornfield to an Indiana blizzard.

This one send chills through my heart my friend. The winter shall end and with the spring, and the warmth of the sunshine the flower shall once again blossom. Until then I send sunhine and smiles your way to help keep the chill at bay, take cae!

I see a winter too
It would be cold without you
You are warm thoughts of desire
You are my little Fire
Melting frozen heart
Warming blood flow to start

Love your poem
Let's pump you up

Ham hocks........well, after you have a bone in ham for dinner, you cook the rest of the ham on the bone with beans and make like a stew or thick soup kinda like bean with bacon soup.......I make mine on the sweet side, and with cornbread it is sooooo good! Does that explain it better for you?   -SEA
