i have a friend who's always near though far away for me she's here i hope she knows to me she's dear 'earth angel' when life is cruel and tears must fall with gentle wings she dries them all she always hears me when i call 'earth angel' and when life's path leads me astray she gently guides me on my way she walks beside me day by day 'earth angel' when my heart's song does cease to be she softly sings hope's tune to me her words can set my spirit free 'earth angel' and when at night i close my eyes i know she'll be there when i rise a friend for life i realize 'earth angel' i thank God for the gift of you in all you say and all you do you're more than just my friend...you're my 'earth angel'  love ya, dg  ~vlraynes "...until you have read the verse on his heart, you have not truely met the poet." -vlraynes [This message has been edited by vlraynes (edited 11-08-2000).] |

Mark- hi sweet friend. as you know, she has been a close friend of mine for a long time...and has not given up on me, in times when most people would have...for that and much more, i love her dearly. thank you for your heartfelt thoughts. glad you enjoyed. Wonderful tribute to your more than friend..It made me think of how much I truly do appreciate the special ones that care enough to be there when we are falling, and prop us up sometimes. I think I am getting the sleepy babbles, so will stop at that, It was a very special poem. Sandra |
