Before I Beheld The Beauty Of You

What was life before I beheld the beauty of you?
Was this world bathed in the rainbows' own kiss?
Were there really angels flying in skies of blue?
If so then why did I not see, why did I miss thiss?

Were there unicorns galloping with horns of gold?
Did the woods have enchantments and magic there?
Did I live my life wrapped within the ice so cold?
Were the stars arranged for me to use as a stair?

Before your smile warmed my heart and my soul
Did I know the wonder that you held alone for me?
Did I see a world of actors playing their own roles?
Why didn't I perceive the love that you held for me?

Before I knew that this is where I needed, had to be
Did I know your love was the answer to my wishes?
Did mysteries start to unravel before you held me?
And did the angels sing my heart before your kisses?

All these dreams you've brought before my starry eyes
Before your love my world was deaf, dumb and blind
I saw no beauty just watched a world where loves cries
I heard no music and loves eternal peace I couldn't find

Your gifts to me are too priceless for me to value
Beauty too rare for this earth I hold here in my heart
Your musics' the sound of angels sighing in the blue
And I sigh with them praying that we will never part

Marsha, you are busy capturing all of the correct feelings...

Wynter, I thank you, I really do thank you.

James, it's true I am living in Love, my man inspired me in spirit. So if my writing shows how much, then the praise should go to him. Thank you for reading.

Poeminster, thank you very much, and thanks for reading.

Mark my dear friend, Oh yes love makes everything seem so much clearer, and also better. As for my muse, he's, whoops, it's been working overtime. Oh what the hell everyone knows where my muse comes from, it's all down to my man. So I'll pass the compliment on to him when we next 'inspire' each other. I'm pleased you like this one, my muse does as well.
