I dont pretent to be perfect You see me as though I am The difficulties this brings us I wonder who will win You say it is not a game But a feeling that is real Why am I so tired then, Of trying to appeal? Heart to Heart You are the one I feel your breath Like the warmth of the sun For the moment I feel safe Resting in your arms Taking you in- Into my dream-like state Why must I battle these feelings unsaid? The swirl of emotions Drifting in and out of my head You are here for me This I know is true For your love heals me Like a fountain of my tears, so pure, so blue Take me away from this pain I know Hold me in your loving arms Keep me safe And never let go......... |
