if there are two sides to all of us
then she must have at least
seven or eight
they come together here
in a symmetrical double helix of
personality and poetry
revealing a heart full of passion
and a mind full of life

the words come from her
like from a fountain of expression
that all have sought and that
few have found
but instead of keeping the
secret for herself,
she shows us the way
this daughter of eve,
showing us the garden of ideas

looking through the window
of her heart and soul
we see ourselves
that is the reflection that we see
it is not a reflection of ourselves
but it's a reflection of her
but yet it's a reflection of us
that is the wonder of this
mirror

what we can see

Beautiful work here, Sven.

Doreen is a wonderful woman and a wonderful poet in my opinion.  She shows all her sides well.

A great tribute to her Sven...I still wonder---lol, and she'll forgive me for this---I hope--does she write quickly or think slowly...'cause I just can't DO that.

Her work is a portrait of a racing mind...

Thank you for this one, Sven.  And thank you, Doreen...

you have captured her and her poetry well..
she is multi-layered and multi-talented.
and such a complexity of poetry
another well done tribute Sven...
you've taken on quite an undertaking here..
kudos to you

WEll done. I see in that mirror a reflection of her extrordinary mind, which expresses thngs in a extrordinary way, and yet the ordinary in us recognizes it. She is a great poet and this is a fitting tribute

Greeneyes, thank you my friend. . .

wow!!!

for moi??? geez, Sven... thanks so much! i'm very honored that you would include me in your tributes ... and i truly appreciate all the kind things you've said about my writing.. i read this last night but had to think about it real slow to figure out how to thank you... and all i could come up with was to just say "thank you"... so... thank you

oh, and it's think slow, type fast, edit edit edit edit.. that's my mind coming out of my fingers.. well, you can't keep a mind locked up inside a head for too long, y'know! *g

James, thank you my friend. . . it's the least that I can do for such wonderful people. . .

Sunshine, I haven't called Doreen "Sybil" in quite a long time!     And to keep us sane is quite an accomplishment. . .

Doreen, you're welcome. . . I have always loved your work. . . and have always wondered how it came from you. . . and now with your "think slow, type fast, edit, edit, edit" formula. . . I finally understand!!  Thank you my friend. . . and continued success to you. . .
