It's a letter I wrote,
But never sent;
It's a tear that swelled,
But never fell.
I always longed
To free these emotions,
But knew they'd
Only push you further.
It's a falling star
That I never wished on;
It's a tune in my head
That never found its way
Through these lips.
These walls know,
But they'd never tell the tale
Of the heartache within.
It'll always be
When I have an idea,
Not a pen will be found.
When the time is right,
The song in my heart
Will be allowed
To illuminate your world.

I won't go, I won't sleep, I can't breathe until you're resting here with me...

Very good snowpants there's a lot of things left undone in this one and they are expressed so well....it's only going to take one good write to get them all done ....good work!!! I really enjoyed it...ethome

i feel the anguish of the things never completed, and lonting for these things that will complete you and your happiness. Soon you shall sing that song. brighter days ahead. Ron

If only walls could speak.....

Very nice!

My sweet friend, you have such a tender heart and such a beautiful way with your words to express your thoughts.  This cowboy sends you many warm hugs across the miles to make you smile and I believe when the time comes, you will have no problem finding the right words nor the pen to write them.
